Solutions that you've used:

  • Walk into the tripwire to set it off. Make the plank of wood move/fall off. try to land on the metal box or attach some glue then a chair. Get a shovel and dig through to the starite.
  • "Blackhole" In the water sucking in shark and fish, spawn fire to set the wood on fire and in a few seconds it will burn through, then use "scubagear" and swim, then get starite
  • Attach three balloons to the Starite to make it float up. Go through the tripwire and delete one balloon. Pick up the Starite.
  • Approach the tripwire without triggering it and use the lasso.
  • Tie a rope to the starite. Use the buggy physics to manipulate the rope in such a way it moves the starite. Usually towards a place where activating the tripwire will not let it drop. Walk on over and pick it up. (I have pulled this off three times.)
  • Inch up as close to the first tripwire as you can without setting it off. Use a fishing pole to grab the starite and pull it toward you. Might take one or two tries depending on how close you got.
